FBLA Prepares For Chapter Competition

Manual’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter is currently preparing for local competition against other schools in the Louisville area. The contest includes over 60 different types of competition including speeches, tests and combinations of several different mediums.

“We have to request the tests beforehand,” said FBLA Officer, Akshai Bhatnagar (12), “so we are asking for everyone to choose what competitions they plan to compete in by the end of the week.”

After the local or “chapter” competition, winners will have the opportunity to compete in the regional competition, succeeded by a state competition, succeeded by the national competition.

“We usually have about 20 Manual students performing at the national competition,” said Bhatnagar.
