Zombie Club Participates in Movie Trailer

On Saturday, January 29 students in the Zombie Apocalypse Club met in Simpsonville, KY to participate in a movie trailer. Michael Fitzer, the director, filmed the trailer as part of a funding package for his career. Students took part in the event dressing up as zombies. They wore torn rags and poured red corn syrup over their clothing to simulate blood. Preparation and filming lasted around five hours.

Mr. Kuhn, the sponsor of the club, allowed Fitzer to shoot the footage on his parent’s farm.

“I’m friends with Michael,” said Kuhn. “He’s a real filmmaker. This isn’t just someone shooting in their backyard.”

After the filming, the club convened at Wendy’s to enjoy lunch.
