Cross country team prepares for regionals

Manual’s varsity cross country team prepared for KHSAA Regional cross country Championships on Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Kentucky horse park in Lexington.

“Throughout the year we’ve trained really hard and gone through a lot of injuries to make it up to this point. It’s been tough, but it’s been fun. I think our team is really close at winning this year,” said Juan Afable (10), a cross country runner.

Conditioning started in the middle of July, with practice every day, except on Sunday, at Seneca Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

“I think that the team will do great, only if the girls and guys are okay and not tired or warn out,” said Anna Seiler (10), another cross country runner.
