Hurricane Sandy, Voter ID laws pose problems in Pennsylvania

Sometime-swing state Pennsylvania has consistently chosen President Obama in the polls for the past few weeks, but on Election Day it faced a new set of problems. As Philadelphia resident and 2002 Manual graduate Anne Bornschein discussed, Hurricane Sandy caused confusion about polling places and absentee voting, and the much-talked-about Voter ID laws put many voters’ statuses in limbo.
