Enrichments: Episode 3

Environmental Club

The most all-inclusive, eco friendly club in school meets every Monday in Ms. Kesler’s room, 210. The members of not only Environmental club but a variety of volunteer clubs meet and discuss long-term goals and current objectives with helping the environment; then they disperse to accomplish their individual tasks scattered throughout the school. If you’re interested in being one of million droplets in the pool of environmental action, this is the enrichment for you.

Key Club

One of the largest, most broad-ranging clubs at duPont Manual High School is the volunteer group, Key Club. All of the members and the two captains, Gabby Torres and Laura Daley, are the epitome of giving back to society, and they give all they can. Come to the senior cafeteria on Thursday to gain some volunteer hours, but for the right reasons.

GSTA

The Gay Straight Transgender alliance meets every Monday to discuss changing stereotypes, plans for acceptance, and occasionally holiday party plans. This club is a great example of the extreme diversity at duPont Manual High School.
