Sports GALLERY: Manual Bowling team competes in annual tournament Margo Morton Jan 15, 2014 Share on Facebook Tweet on Twitter The tournament was broken up into two teams of six bowlers each: the varsity Manual White and the junior-varsity Manual Red. Many parents, siblings, and friends showed up to spectate the event, which is considered the biggest bowling tournament of the season. The team watches as Spencer Kincaid’s (11) ball rolls down the lane. Ben Santini (12) lines up on the approach and focuses before throwing his shot. Coach Tom Shulak records the scores from the boy’s qualifying match. Girl’s Bowling team coach, Bob Hillerich, gives Zoe Cardwell-Copenhafer (10) bowling tips. Delayna Shulak (11) gives her team high-fives after her shot. It is expected for the team members to welcome their teammates back from the approach with high-fives. Parascopes are a common sight at bowling tournaments so that parents and friends are able to see the bowlers over the masses of spectators.
