This Week in Manual Athletics: March 19 – 24

Baseball

To kick off the season, the baseball team will face Central Hardin on Monday. The game will be at 5:30 p.m. at Central Hardin. They will go onto play Kentucky Country Day on Tuesday. First pitch will be at 5 p.m. at Kentucky Country Day. The baseball team will compete in the Fern Creek Bash Friday and Saturday.

Softball

The softball team will start the season on Tuesday against Jeffersonville. First pitch will be at 5 p.m. at the George Sauer Athletic Complex, this will be a Crimson/Ram Card Event. They will then face Bullitt Central on Wednesday, with the first pitch at 5 p.m. at Bullitt Central. On Friday they will play Southern at George Sauer Atletic Complex at 5 p.m., this will be a Crimson/Ram Card Event. They will then compete in the Somerset/Pulaski County Showcase on Saturday.

Boys’ Lacrosse

The boys’ team will face Dixie Heights on Friday, face-off will be at 6 p.m. at Dixie Heights. They will then play Christian Academy (CAL) on Saturday. Face-off will be at 4 p.m. at CAL.

Girls’ Lacrosse

The girls’ team will go up against Presentation on Monday, draw will be at 5:30 p.m. at duPont Manual Memorial Stadium. This will be a Crimson/Ram Card Event.

Boys’ Tennis

The boys’ team is set to play St. Francis on Wednesday, the match will begin at 4:15 p.m. at Chickasaw Park. They will then face Kentucky Country Day on Thursday, the match will begin at 4 p.m. at Kentucky Country Day. The boys’ team will then compete in the Greenwood High School Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Girls’ Tennis

After earning first place at the Decoturf Championships over the weekend, the girls’ team will face Henry Clay on Tuesday. The match will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Central Park. They then play Ballard on Wednesday, the match will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Central Park. The girls’ team will then go up against Christian Academy on Thursday. The match will begin at 4 p.m. at CAL.

Track and Field

The boys’ and girls’ teams will compete in the Fayette/Jefferson County Boarder Challenge on Saturday. The meet will be at Fern Creek, check @ManualAthletics on Twitter for updates.
