Manual’s JV girls’ tennis team showed up strong and focused on Tuesday, winning both doubles courts with ease and defeating the Male Bulldogs as a result.
Playing at number one doubles were Rhea Parmar (9, MST) and Priya Midha (11, HSU), while Erica Wang (10, MST) and Saanvi Arora (10, MST) held down the number two doubles court.
Parma and Midha played an amazing match, showing off strong serves and seamless teamwork in a quick 6-1, 6-0 win. Wang and Arora also secured an easy 6-1, 6-0 victory, demonstrating good net play and great chemistry on the court.
“My partner Rhea played an incredible match today and won the final point with a really beautiful down-the-line shot,” Midha said.
Though the weather conditions weren’t ideal due to chilly temperatures and strong winds, the players didn’t let it affect their performance. Both teams showed effort on the court and walked away with an easy win.
The Lady Crimsons’ next match will be against CAL this Thursday at 4 p.m.
