Adobe Photoshop has always been the top choice for image editors and designers worldwide, and recently the beta of its newest version, Photoshop CS6, has been released.
For the average consumer, Creative Suite updates don’t really show a lot of advancement; but if you deeper into what Adobe has implemented into the new software, you’ll see what the all the craze is about. CS5 really needed some necessary improvements and Adobe really gave what the users wanted.
New organized, faster interface
The new Photoshop comes with a completely redesigned user interface that allows you to quickly show and hide menus and tools. It also comes in new colors that really let you see your image better. It also uses the new Mercury Graphics engine, which quickly adds effects to your layers.
Content-Aware Patch tool
This new tool Adobe introduced in CS6 allows you to select an area and replace it with near-by pixels to make it look “right”. This allows you to tell Photoshop which area of the image to sample. Just like the Patch Tool in previous versions, dragging your selection on top of a ‘clean’ area will tell Photoshop to replace your selection with that area.
Updated Camera RAW
Photographers can now do more with their RAW photos. Photoshop CS6 improves the clarity in RAW to bring back more detail, and leave out nasty distortions. The adjustment brushes have been updated to include more adjustments, including noise reduction.
