On January 11, senior class officers Julian Wright (12), Alice Darling (12), Maya McClendon (12), and Allison Traylor (12) meet with representatives from Yum! who have agreed to give them a grant to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity. The Yum! representatives as well as a representative from Habitat for Humanity also gave the students guidance on raising the rest of the money for the project.

Forecastle is back for 2022 at Waterfront Park. Its return marks the beginning of summer break for Manual students and brings many exciting musical acts to Louisville.
After increased scrutiny of JCPS's current busing program, the district has created a new student assignment plan to address the failings of the current system. Manual RedEye sat down with Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio to discuss these changes.
