Boys’ basketball Senior Night was a success

The boys’ basketball team won against Central High School on Friday, February 8 at Manual for their annual Senior Night.

The annual night recognized the seniors of the team and put them in the spotlight. It was a night dedicated to all of their contribution and hardwork put into the team over the years, hence the name Senior Night.

James Just, head coach of the boys’ varsity basketball team, believed it was a good night despite all the emotions. “It differs every year, but I think Friday was a good night. The boys don’t tend to be as emotional as the girls typically are, but there is still a very strong attachment between the seniors and the younger players,” Just said.

Raleigh Dixon (11) is among one of the many players who will greatly miss the seniors as they say their farewell. “I love the seniors, so I’ll be sad to see them go out,” Dixon said.
