The iconic tower structure of Manual, which was damaged on July 13, will be fully repaired by the end of October.
The missing pinnacle, made from historic sandstone, will require six weeks worth of work to repair to its original condition.
“We’re going to have a giant crane sitting out here during Red/White week,” said Mr. Jerry Mayes (Principal).
The main classroom that was damaged, room 323, should be in working order by the end of winter break (Jan. 4).
“This week they’re going to start doing some work on just the ceiling and pulling the wires up,” said Mr. Mayes. “Then in three weeks they’re going to come back and put brackets in.”
