On Oct. 4, 2011, the FEA chapter of duPont Manual High School attended the annual FEA Chapter meeting at the Louisville Marriott as a field trip.
All chapters of FEA communicated their ideas and new things that could be added to FEA. They divided into small groups and did simple tasks and objectives. Each time a group won, it got a tally or point. All groups then took a vote at the end of the day, and the group with the most points received a small award.
“This is a great way to have fun with all chapters of FEA and also get some ideas flowing around. Its a win-win situation.” overseer Ms. Nicole Finley (English) said.
“I had a great time at the meeting. My team was one that tied with another and received a t-shirt and backpack, which was good with me.” Zahara Gully (11) said.
“With this being my first year as president I had an awesome time and I can’t wait to get back next year.”Grace Maddox (11) said.
Manual’s FEA has been participating in these meetings for the past four years.
