On February 17, the varsity boys’ basketball team (17-10) went on the road to play the St. Xavier Tigers (19-8). Despite an early lead in the first quarter, turnovers and and fouls would soon give the Tigers the lead in the second quarter. In an up and down game for much of the second half, the Crimsons were able to cut the deficit to within five points, but were not able to capitalize on late fouls and missed shots, resulting in a 73-64 loss. The Crimsons will play at home on February 21 during the 25th district tournament.[nggallery id=553]
