With over 30,000 square feet of video games set on free-play, video game lovers will not want to miss this event. Even those of you who love classics, like the Atari 2600, will be impressed. 2 canned goods, or $2 will have you entered in a raffle to win an arcade machine. This event will go on for the entire weekend. Proceeds go to Dare to Care and Kosair Children’s Hospital.

After releasing their album “What am I Doing Here” this week, this Brooklyn duo has a lead singer, James Ardery, who grew up in Louisville. This band is known to be post-punk/indie-rock/inverted funk.

Canadian singer/keyboardist Spencer Krug just released his third album, “Julia with Blue Jeans on.” The album is heavily focused on keyboarding, so those of you who enjoy the piano would more than likely enjoy this event.

Kentucky Reptile Expo @ Kentucky Expo Center

This event will have many exotic reptiles on display, as well as reptile supplies which will be available for purchase. Anyone who may be interested in animals, reptiles, or is just looking for something different to do should attend this one day event.

Boys’ Varsity Basketball Game vs. Trinity @ Valley High School

This game will be a tournament game. Manual students are encouraged to come and support the team and show their school spirit.
Open Mic @ The Kentucky Center (East Room)

Open mic is a common event at the Kentucky Center. Open Mic’s are available for people of all ages to come together and enjoy readings of poetry, slam poetry, short stories, plays, etc. If creative writing is something that interests you, think about attending this event. The next Open Mic is scheduled for April 13. It’s presented by the River City Drum Corp and ArtsReach.
