Opened Sept. 26; open every Friday and Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. to midnight through Nov. 1. This haunted house is set up on the first floor of an old hospital for Tuberculosis patients. According to its website, Waverly Hills is considered to be “the most haunted place on Earth.”
Field of Screams/Hayride to Hell

Opened Sept. 12; open every Friday and Saturday night from seven p.m. to one a.m. through Oct. 31. This haunting is one of the biggest in both the Kentucky and Indiana areas. The Field of Screams is a two-part walkthrough haunt. The first part is a corn maze, which is a uniquely-cut maze that changes every year, and the second part is known as “the haunted barn.” Along with the Hayride to Hell, these three haunts shouldn’t disappoint.
There are three Danger Run starting locations, all of which start at Lowe’s Home Improvement stores. Danger Run includes three haunts for the price of one ($20.00) all throughout Louisville, Ky. and Clarksville, In.

Danger Run is somewhat different from other local haunts, in that this haunt is an in-car scavenger hunt in which you and those who accompany you in the car must solve clues to find the locations of the three haunted houses. Every car load of four or more people will include ten dollars in free gas, which is meant to be enough to make it to all three destinations.

This haunt features four attractions all at the same location.
Zombie City is an interactive haunted house where all of the “monsters” are zombies taken over by a disease that is spreading throughout the city.
Darkness Falls is a mile-long haunt through both inside and outside displays. The website description highly encourages you to bring running shoes.
Xterminate: Zalien Attack is an “interactive first-person shooting experience” in a 17,000 square-foot arena where attendees must shoot off zombie aliens.
Carnivale of Lost Souls is free to enter. It features performances by the Blue Moon Circus.

This haunt also features four different attractions at the same location.
Industrial Nightmare is the main attraction at Industrial Terrorplex, just like at any other haunt, it is a walk-through.
Dementions, according to the website, is the “most sick and twisted encounter at Industrial Terrorplex,” and supposedly “takes you into the mind of the insane, the psychotic and the criminal.”
Carnevil 3D features Hollywood-inspired, three-dimensional effects. Keep in mind that this haunt will feature clowns.
Infected is a zombie-themed haunt, so be prepared to try to find your way to freedom.

This haunt takes place in a real morgue, what used to be known as the Vanderdark Morgue. Watch the video about the morgue’s history here. The haunt features a storyline with its own characters.
