Metro Animal service is a care center for abused animals. Bringing in an average of 14.000 animals annually, their goal is to save the lives of Louisville animals. Volunteers get the chance to walk dogs, play with cats, and join in events that promote pet adoption awareness. An orientation is mandatory prior to volunteering. Meals-On-Wheels is a non-profit organization focused on delivering nutritious food to the elderly in Louisville who otherwise might not receive proper meals. Volunteers are needed to prepare and package dinners, organize schedules, make phone calls, load delivery vehicles and deliver meals.
