duPont Manual hosted their annual college fair on April 10.

This Thursday, duPont Manual hosted its annual college fair for the classes of 2026-28. Decisions about post-high school plans are a common stress-inducer among students nationwide. One of many ways to ease these worries is to hold a college fair. The college fair featured a total of 29 schools ranging from Northern Kentucky University to University of Louisville. 

The college fair allowed students to see what different futures and pathways look like. Additionally, the college fair let students connect with representatives from schools that interested them. Many students may not have access or ability to travel or see college that they may be interested in, but the college fair is able to fix this problem and to provide equal opportunities.

“I think it’s cool,” Daniel Weiss (11, HSU) said. “There’s a lot of interesting schools and people.” Weiss explained that this experience and opportunity was positively overwhelming and helped him to form ideas and decisions about the future. 

Additionally, while many students have college on their mind, some are looking for alternatives or specialties, such as trade school or the armed forces. duPont Manual’s college fair offered many of these options including: Kentucky College of Art + Design, Army National Guard, The U.S. Army andUPS. The college fair also offered a booth centered around evolve 502, a scholarship program that is very beneficial to students who seek to stay in-state for college. 

Overall, duPont Manual’s annual college fair was a success and has left students satisfied and pondering the future.
