Gallery: Science, water, and sport in Adv. Physics

Ms. McKim’s R2 Advanced Physics class conducted a lab last Tuesday, May 8. Students were instructed to bring in a two-liter bottle and punch a small hole in the side. Students then sealed the hole with tape and filled the bottle with water. Next, they were assigned to figure out how far the water would shoot after the tape was removed. For a bit of a challenge, some students tried to aim the water into their classmates’ mouths.
