Dryden finished with a time of 16:80 in the race against JV and Varsity runners.

“I thought the race was exciting and a lot of fun and I felt really good afterwards also the race felt amazing, I was really excited. It was the first time I had ever won a cross country meet,” Dryden said.

“The race was so close and so anticipating that I almost had to stop watching it, but I’m so proud of Emma and I think that she did a really good job, and I want her to know that the Cross-Country team is so proud of her,” Samantha Brenzel (10) said.
