YPAS takes trip to Actors Theater of Louisville

YPAS students as well as a few English classes took a field trip to Actors Theater of Louisville to see the famous Shakespeare play, “Romeo and Juliet”

The play kicked off Actors’ 49th season and opened September 6. YPAS students in theater or musical theater as well as Mr. Wrights’ English classes went to see it on Tuesday, September 25.

The play is modernized but uses Shakespearean language. “The new twist should make the play more interesting and I may even get a new perspective on the play,” said Hunter Mayfield (10).

Upon returning many students were in full on discussion about the play. “It was funny and not how I expected at all. I loved it,” said Sara Cox (10).

Romeo and Juliet will close on Thursday, September 27. The season will continue until April 7. For more ticket information, please visit the Actor Theater of Louisville website at http://www.actorstheatre.org or call 502-584-1205.
