Manual’s Campus Life club met Friday, Oct. 12, prior the Manual vs. Saint Xavier football game for a pre-game get-together. They gathered at Panera Bread then went bowling at Executive Bowl before going to the game together. “We all had so much fun! I got the second place score at the bowling alley,” said Whitney Foster (12), a Manual bowling team member and Campus Life participant.

“We are trying to get together with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and plan an event,” said Kelsie Juts (11). Both FCA and Campus life are Christian clubs that meet once every week. “Campus Life is for Christians but even more so for non-Christians. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable to just show up and ask questions. We love to hear everyone’s different views,” said Casey Hainline (12).

Campus Life is a national club, they have leaders who go to all different schools in Jefferson County. Most of the leaders are from a local church and lead a weekly lesson on issues students face on a high school campus. The leaders try to incorporate Bible verses that will strengthen and encourage students.
