International Club holding coat drive

International Club holding coat drive

International club has been holding a coat drive at Manual this week to help out local refugees. The purpose of the coat drive is to donate to the Kentucky Refugee Ministry in their own coat drive.

Donations are to be placed in the “international club” labeled box in the center hall lobby.  Katherine Lenihan (Language) strongly suggests that the whole school is allowed to participate. “It’s not just for intentional club, all of manual is encouraged to donate,” Ms.Lenihan said.

Everyone is encouraged to donate coats and other seasonal apparel to the cause. “Refugees are in need and  if we have to coats to spare, why shouldn’t we donate?” Matthew Graves (12) said.

“We’re waiting until Monday to see the results. I hope a lot of people participated,” Mackenzie Zimmer (12), international club member, said.
