Monday, January 7th, 5 Manual softball players went down to the weight room for their last conditioning session before real practice starts. Since it would be the last time they condition before practice, Coach James Brentlinger had a special surprise for them. “A burn out is when you lift as much as you can until your muscles start failing and you can’t move any more,” said Brentlinger.

Forecastle is back for 2022 at Waterfront Park. Its return marks the beginning of summer break for Manual students and brings many exciting musical acts to Louisville.
After increased scrutiny of JCPS's current busing program, the district has created a new student assignment plan to address the failings of the current system. Manual RedEye sat down with Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio to discuss these changes.
