On Monday, Feb. 18 Ms. Hall’s chemistry 1 class made 3 different types of crystals using: 1) copper chloride, acetic acid, sodium silicate solution, an iron paper clip, and sodium chloride solution. 2) lead nitrate solution, acetic acid, sodium silicate solution, zinc metal, and distilled water. 3) Lead nitrate solution, acetic acid, sodium silicate solution, and potassium iodide solution.
Brandi Knauer (12) talks to Ms.Hall about her gel solution to see if she made a mistake with her measurements.
Brandi Knauer (12), DeAnna Williams (11), and Tabitha Mitchell (11) examine their lab sheet before starting the lab.
