Forecastle Festival announces lineup featuring artists like The Black Keys and The String Cheese Incident

On March 4, Forecastle Festival announced the 2013 lineup with performers such as The Black Keys, String Cheese Incident, and the Avett Brothers including other performers such as the Alabama Shakes, The Flaming Lips and Jim James. The Forecastle Festival is a three-day music festival held annually in Louisville, Kentucky since 2002.

Forecastle Festival began as a small community event in Tyler Park by JK McKnight. The event quickly became widely popular and started to gain attention from bigger artists, past artists have included Bassnectar, Smashing Pumpkins, and My Morning Jacket. This year the festival is on July 12-14, tickets go on sale March 6. The festival is held at the Waterfront park. Forecastle attracts tourists from all over to come to the Waterfront park to enjoy music, and art.
