VIDEO: 45 Years of Karate

Dr. Serikali is one of the most prolific martial artists in the world. He has been in the martial arts for over 40 years and has taught over four generations of students. He has students throughout the United States, Africa and Switzerland. He has championed many causes in this community. He has feed the hungry, provided shelter to the sick and shut out, been a mentor and father to our youth and protector of our elders. In 2007, Dr. Serikali was enstooled as a revered Elder by the Elders and Wisdom Keepers of the Community, inducted into the Kentucky Colonels and recognized by the Kentucky State Senate as a Distinguish Citizen in Kentucky and received a Congressional Lifetime Achievement Award from the United States House of Representatives. With the publishing of his book, Tai Chi Chuan an Afriasian Guide to Health and Longevity, Dr. Serikali was recognized by his peers in 2008 and was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Alliance Hall of Fame where he received recognition as Founder of the Year and obtained his doctorate degree in Martial Arts and Science from the University of Asian Martial Arts Studies. He recognizes that every human has an astonishing potential for creative power and driving intent for expressions of this energy towards ultimate success.
