Collective bargaining debate continues in Wisconsin

Mayor Martin Moylan of Madison Wisconsin marched to the city capitol building several weeks ago to join the thousands of protesters fighting for Union Bargaining rights.

The city has been in an upheaval since Wisconsin lawmakers approved a bill restricting collective bargaining rights for most public workers.

The fight ignited when 14 democratic leaders crossed the border into Illinois to keep the bill from even being voted on. However, this did not stop the bill from being passed. Though their efforts did not go unrewarded, according to an article from Yahoo! News the democratic chapter of Wisconsin received well over $800, 000 in donations over the week following the decision.
