Thousands of cyclists, paddlers and walkers, and people just enjoying the atmosphere came out this Memorial Day morning for the Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Subway Fresh Fit Hike, Bike & Paddle at Waterfront Park on the Great Lawn. This is the ninth year for the events, which are held each Memorial Day and Labor Day as part of Louisville’s Healthy Hometown Movement. The movement is aimed to encourage residents to become more active and have a healthier lifestyle.
