Among the many new staff members and students joining the Crimson family this 2013-14 year, Mrs. Michelle Leslie is one who will certainly embrace the spirit of Manual. Leslie will be the counselor for students with last names H-O.
A chance to have a conversation with Leslie will reveal her vibrant personality and commitment to her students. With this being her 4th year as a counselor—three of which were served at Valley High School—Leslie said she was excited to know her students and she encourages them to get to know her as well. Leslie’s main focus this year is getting to know the seniors so she can be prepared to write personal college recommendations.
Manual has about two times the population as Valley; however, Leslie is prepared to take on the extra load. Leslie had a great first impression of Manual, “I’m very impressed by the way students have been regarding their classes.”(Referring to many students taking very rigorous courses.)
