Voices of Kentuckiana @ The Clifton Center

2117 Payne St.

$20 ($15 in advanced), 7pm

Voices of Kentuckiana consider themselves “all-inclusive,” welcoming anyone to come and sing with them. They “embody a sense of community and celebration.” This event is for their 20th Anniversary performance, titled “Voices go Platinum.” According to Leo Weekly, they will sing a “variety of songs from iconic anthems like ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon and Broadway musicals like ‘Rent’ to contemporary ditties like ‘Just the Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars.”

 

Saturday, April 12

Thunder Over Louisville @ Waterfront Park

Thunder Over Louisville is one of the biggest firework shows in the country, and it’s certainly something you won’t want to miss. Let’s not forget about the beautiful weather in store for Saturday. Don’t miss out!

 

Manual Varsity Baseball Games @ North Bullitt

12pm (vs. Bullitt East), 3pm (vs. Whitefield Academy)

Our Boys play two games this Saturday, both in Bullitt County. If you’re a fan of baseball, or you simply want to support Manual, be sure to come out at one of the two given times on Saturday!

 

Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse League Game vs. Ballard @ DuPont Manual Stadium

1230 East Burnett Avenue

5:30pm

It’s a Lacrosse home game for our Crimsons! Be sure to come out to Manual Stadium Saturday to support them as they play against the Bruins. Bring your school spirit!

 

Sunday, April 13

Lance Bangs @ Dreamland

810 E. Market Street

$10,  7pm

Lance Bangs is a rather popular filmmaker, and he’s coming to Dreamland to screen some of his shorter (but great) works. It will feature music videos, short films, and live footage of who may be some of your favorite artists– Nirvana, R.E.M., The RZA, Earl Sweatshirt, The White Stripes, Sonic Youth, etc. If these artists, or similar artists interest you, this is certainly an event you won’t want to miss.
