One of the best things about a diverse, large school like duPont Manual is the after-school clubs. There are clubs for everything, from chess to German minigolf. This series will venture into each club at Manual, three at a time.

Jahne Brown (10, J&C) leads the BSU once a month in Mr. Miller’s room, 252. Brown’s mission for the Black Student union is to achieve total acceptance and integration at Manual, and eliminate prejudice, minute or extravagant. Join her, the BSU and their guest speakers one specified Monday a month to be a part of a social change!

Future Educators Club

Every Thursday, Kieren Walker (12, HSU) leads the Future Educators Club in Ms. Cooper’s room. Recently changed from the FEA, the FEC works to lead youth and provide students with leadership opportunities in fields like education and supervision. Come to room 232 next Thursday if you’re interested in volunteering in leadership and community activities!
