Manual girls meet for Powderpuff game

Manual’s junior and senior Powderpuff teams faced off at Manual Stadium last Wednesday, October 22 as part of the annual Red/White Week tradition, ending with a Senior victory of 24-12.

The all-girls flag football game is a popular tradition for many high schools across the country, and it is usually for fundraising purposes. The $2 admissions fee went towards the junior and senior proms.

The Powderpuff game also included a performance by the junior and senior male cheerleading squads, commonly referred to as the “LoverBoyz.”

As soon as halftime started, the LoverBoyz raced onto the field for a senior/junior dance-off.
