Action for Africa holds spring fashion show

On Sunday, May 22, Action for Africa held a spring fashion show. Organized by Micah McClain (11), the fashion show was held at the Muhammad Ali Center from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The show was a fundraiser for the northern Ugandan based organization– Invisible Children.

“I chose to do this because I fell in love with the idea with producing something that I love to do and for a good cause,” said McClain (11). “The caliber of the event that I knew I was going to plan is what is going to benefit these children the most, I saw so much potential in what Holly and I were going to be doing so I felt it was my duty to lend my knowledge of fashion to make this the best I thought it could be.”
