Football
The Football team bounced back from a loss to St. Xavier with a win over Pleasure Ridge Park by a score of 34-28. Andre Teague (6,12) led the Crimson attack with five touchdowns. This week the Crimsons will travel to Male for the annual Old Rivalry on Oct. 21. Last year, the Bulldogs beat the Crimsons 43-7 en route to winning the KHSAA class 6A state championship
Cross Country
The Cross Country team will close out a strong regular season this week with one varsity meet and one JV meet. Yared Nuguse and Alena Sapienza-Wright look to remain in the top ranks in the state. On Oct. 20 the varsity team will travel to Charlie Vettiner park for the JCPS championships. Then on Oct. 22 the JV squad will compete in the JV championships (location and time TBA).
Boys’ Soccer
Last week the Crimsons demolished St. Francis in the 25th District championship by a score of 9-0. This week the Crimsons continue their championship run as they take on the highly ranked St. Xavier Tigers on Oct. 17 at 7:30 at Manual Stadium. Manual pulled off the upset over the top ranked Tigers at Manual Stadium on Sept. 15 by a score of 1-0 to secure a signature win for the season. The Crimsons look to trounce the Tigers again this week. If the Crimsons win they will advance to the next round of the 7th region tournament. The 7th region tournament bracket can be viewed here.
Girls’ Soccer
Last week the Lady Crimsons obliterated Presentation Academy in the 25th District final by a score of 10-0. This week Manual will open 7th region tournament play against Atherton on Oct. 17 at 5:30 at Male. If Manual emerges victorious they will advance the the next round of the 7th region tournament.
