This Week in Manual Athletics: Jan. 8 -13

Boys’ Basketball

Following their loss of 57-55 to #1 ranked Fern Creek, the boys’ team will have a bye week and not participating in the Louisville Invitational Tournament. Their next game will be against Atherton on January 16th.

Girls’ Basketball

After a win of 69-48 over Fern Creek the girls are set to face Mercy Academy on Tuesday night. Tip-off will be at 7:30 p.m. at Mercy. They will go on to play Scott County on Thursday night. Tip-off is 6:30 p.m. at Butch Charmoli Gymnasium. This will be a Crimson/Ram Card event.

Boys’ and Girls’ Swimming

Following a successful night at the Rock the Block Invitational and their meet against Christian Academy at Louisville, Trinity and Assumption, the swim team will face Atherton and Fern Creek on Thursday night. The meet will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Central.

Wrestling

Over the weekend the wrestling team competed in the Jefferson County Tournament of Champions where Jacob Bratcher (12) finished runner-up in his division. This week the team will compete at the Regional Duals. The meet will be on Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky. Check @ManualAthletics on twitter for updates.

Boys’ and Girls’ Bowling

As the bowling team’s season comes to a close, the girls’ and boys’ team will face both St. Xavier and North Bullitt on Thursday. The meet will start at 3:30 p.m. at Executive Strike & Spare.

Archery

The Archery team will compete in the Manual Invitational from Friday to Saturday. The meet will be at duPont Manual and times are TBA. Check @ManualAthletics on twitter for updates.
