Campus Life holds funnel cake event to attract members

Last Thursday, Campus Life hosted a funnel cake event in order to attract more attention to the group.

“[The event] was a success because we got to meet a lot of new people and get the word out about Campus Life to some people who may have not known about it or about what we are as a club,” said Ben Bryant, a youth pastor for the club.

According to the Manual Campus Life Facebook page, Campus Life is a group that has open discussions about God and Christianity and the questions people have about them.

“I think students inviting their peers got people in the door, but funnel cakes don’t hurt either,” said Sr. Hamric (Spanish), Campus Life’s sponsor. “Whatever the reason for people coming, it really was a good opportunity for students to hang out, have a good time, and get information about Campus Life as we kicked-off for the year.”

The club meets every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 in room 329.
