Starting yesterday, 18 students from Manual ventured to Washington, D.C. to participate in the March For Our Lives, coming up this Saturday.
Students traveled in minivans over the duration of ten hours with Mariana Atencio, an MSNBC reporter.
On the way to D.C., Lucy Calderon (11, J&C) and Audrey Champelli (11, J&C) spoke with MSNBC reporters about the impacts of the shootings and why they were going to march.

A few days prior to the arrival in D.C., some of the students visited the Courier Journal Headquarters in Louisville.
The CSPN Twitter will continue to tweet what is happening in D.C., with the March beginning tomorrow in D.C. and in cities all over the country, including Louisville. Stay tuned for more coverage.
