Boys’ Basketball

Last week, the boys’ basketball team fell to Pleasure Ridge Park and Eastern. This week, the team will move into their district tournament. On Wednesday, they will travel to Central to play against either St. Francis or Portland Christian. The game will begin ay 6. If they win, they will go on to play again on Friday at Central at 7. Girls’ Basketball

Last week, the girls’ basketball team defeated both Eastern and Pleasure Ridge Park. This week, the team will begin their district tournament with a game on Tuesday at Central at 6. They will face either Portland Christian or St. Francis depending on the result of a game between the two teams earlier in the week. If Manual wins on Tuesday, they will go on to play in the district tournament on Friday at Central at 6. Check out the district bracket here.

Esports

The esports team will begin their first ever season this week. On Tuesday, they will participate in a League of Legends tournament at 4. Manual will face Kentucky Country Day, Elizabethtown and Floyd Central. The location for this competition is TBA. Then, on Thursday, they will face off against Monroe County in a match of Rocket League at 4. The location for this competition is also TBA. 

Swim and Dive

The swim and dive teams finished up their season last week with the state meet. The girls’ swim and dive team came in second place, and the boys’ and girls’ combined team came in fifth place.
