Manual’s Key Club hosted a goodie bag drive for families and people staying at the Ronald Mcdonald House on Thursday, Oct. 21.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a place to stay and access treatment for sick children and families for little to no cost.

This event aimed to aid all of the children housed there. The goodie bags were Halloween themed and consisted of candy, cards and toys for the kids. All of the contents in the bags were donated by the members of the club.

Manual’s Key Club is a student-run organization that is dedicated to making the world a better place through service. The club meets on Thursdays at 2:30 and they discuss possible opportunities for the members and much more. This club is open for anyone to join with a small fee.

The members also had a Halloween social during the event from 2:30-3pm. They had snacks and bonded with the other members of the club while putting together the bags.

“Key club has been such a fun way for me to meet new people, learn more about the city of Louisville, and serve my community. I couldn’t imagine any other way to give back to the place that raised me,” Vy Pham (12, HSU) said.
