Last week, Forecastle Fest announced this year’s lineup for the festival on May 27-29. At a glance, I was so impressed with the variety of artists and got on my computer as fast as I could to buy the three-day pass. I have been on a Tyler, The Creator kick recently, so seeing such a huge artist on the lineup for Sunday is exactly how I want to end the three day event.

Personally, my favorite artists on the list are Jack Harlow, Clairo and Coin on Friday, Tame Impala, Phoebe Bridgers, Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler (whom I discovered prepping for Forecastle two years ago and now know every word she’s ever written) for Saturday, and Tyler, The Creator and Alison Wonderland on Sunday. Of every lineup I’ve seen in the last few years, this is undoubtedly my favorite.

Of course, with more than 40 artists performing, I don’t know everyone and want to be able to listen to as many performers as I can to properly map out my schedule for the festival. To do so, I created a comprehensive—and I mean comprehensive— playlist consisting of the five most popular songs from each small-print artist, the top eight most popular songs from bolded performers and headliners, and extra songs that I love from my favorite artists.

This playlist is dancing around 24 hours long, so I try to listen to it in the car while doing homework, running— anytime I can to make sure I hear as many artists as possible. When I find a song I like, I like the song on Spotify so I know to go back and further explore that artist’s music before the festival. The playlist is linked below for all festival goers to use, whether that’s scrolling through to listen to select artists or exploring some people you’ve never heard before.

It’s organized by days, going in order from headliner one to the last performer listed for that day. Hit play for the day you are attending, for your favorite artists, or to explore all three days for deciding when to buy tickets. Happy listening!
