The Manual Cheerleading team is hosting a cheer competition, The Cardinal Classic, on December 1 at duPont Manual High School. It is an all-day event open to elementary, middle, high school, and all-star cheer teams. The Cardinal Classic is a fundraiser to help pay for national competitions.

The University of Louisville Cheerleaders will be performing. It costs $10 an athlete to compete, and the Manual Cheerleading Team will not be competing because they are the hosts.

“I believe this is the first time that Manual has officially hosted a competition, but I have hosted many throughout the years. We are planning on a big success,” said Ms. Holly Logsdon, the coach.

“I’m so excited about the competition,” said Cameron Mader (10), a Manual cheerleader.
