The Manual field hockey team are heading to Orlando, Fla. for the Disney Field Hockey Showcase on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Members of both the varsity and JV teams will be going to the tournament.

The tournament is not only a chance for teams play against teams from across the nation, but it’s also a time college recruiters start looking for potential players to recruit.

Team members have all been preparing for the meet in their own ways.

“I worked out in the gym. I’ve also been practicing hard at my indoor work on speed and my stick skills, which makes it easier to transition into outdoor,” said Taylor Browning (11).

In between games, team members can go visit the different Disney theme parks to relax and take their minds off of the games.
