Baseball team defeats Doss High School

The baseball team defeated Doss High School 15-0 on Thursday, May 19, making their regular season record 10-18.

Junior Andy Wooldridge pitched for the first time since the Crimsons played Fern Creek on March 29. He held Doss scoreless and maintained a no hitter through 5 innings. Junior pitcher Patrick Allen came in to relieve Wooldridge, but gave up a run in the ninth to break the no-hitter. Senior Trey Litsey hit a home run, and sophomore Aaron Pearcy had his first hit on the varsity team with a single.

“The win tonight got us back on a winning streak, something we needed heading into the last few regular season games,” said Wooldridge. “Hopefully we can keep this going and have momentum heading into the game against Male next Tuesday night.”
