The Crimsons played one game this week and beat Southern on Thursday in the round robin portion of the Louisville Invitational Tournament 12-3. They were scheduled to play two more round robin games on Saturday but mother nature had something to say about that and both games were cancelled. The team now can prepare for a big time home matchup against Eastern on Wednesday. First pitch set for 6:30 p.m.

Manual got a signature win this week when they knocked off the #4 Ballard Bruins on Thursday. If the team plays every game like they did against Ballard, the Crimsons can be a scary team going into the postseason. Manual had more games scheduled but it was a rain filled week and they were all cancelled. They now await a home matchup with Presentation on Monday at 5:00 p.m.

Boys’ Tennis

The team played one match this week and it was Senior Night against Collegiate on Monday. The Crimsons dominated from the start and sent out the seniors strong winning 5-0. Manual is playing good tennis right now and if they keep up this strong play, they could be contenders going into the postseason. They now can rest up until they take the court again on Monday for a home matchup against Ballard at 3:30 p.m.
