This Week in Manual Athletics: Sept. 25-30

Football

After defeating Seneca by a score of 42-0, the Crimsons (3-2) will travel to Butler High School, kickoff will be at 7 p.m. The game against the Bears (4-2), will be Manual’s first of four straight district games.

Volleyball

On Monday the girls will play at Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. The next night they face off against Holy Cross, at Holy Cross. Freshmen play at 5 p.m.  Varsity is set to play at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday they will participate in the Jefferson County Invitational Volleyball Tournament at the Ohio Valley Volleyball Center.

Field Hockey

The Lady Crimsons will face Kentucky Country Day on Thursday at Kentucky Country Day.  Varsity at 7 p.m. this will be the teams only game this week. 

Boys’ Soccer

The boys will play Eastern on Tuesday at Eastern. Varsity will start at 7 p.m. They play Oldham County on Thursday at Oldham Counnty at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday they will play Lexington Catholic at duPont Manual Memorial Stadium at 10:30am and this will be a Crimson/Ram Card event.

Girls’ Soccer

The girls face off against Central on Monday, at Central. Varsity will start at 5:30pm. Then the team play Boyle County on Tuesday at Boyle County at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday they will play Simon Kenton, at Simon Kenton.  Varsity is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Boys’ Golf

Nearing the end of this season, On Monday the boys will compete in the KHSAA Regional Tournament at Midland Trail. Check @ManualAthletics for the times.

Girls’ Golf

Getting close to wrapping up this season, on Tuesday they will compete in the KHSAA Regional Tournament at Shelbyville Country Club. Check @ManualAthletics for the times.

Cross Country

Following a successful weekend of competing in Saturday Night Lights in Centerville, Ohio they compete in the 5K Meet at Charlie Vettiner Park on Tuesday. In their meet last week, girls’ varsity placed fifth overall.
