As Thanksgiving break quickly approaches, many Manual students are looking forward to another school break before they approach finals and the end of the semester. If you are looking for ways to spend quality time with your family and friends, here is a list of ideas to get you started:
Volunteer
To get in the Thanksgiving spirit, students can volunteer at several places around Louisville while spending quality time with family and friends and getting hours for volunteer clubs. Some ideas include:
- Soup kitchen (including the Franciscan Kitchen and the Lord’s Kitchen)
- Canned food drives (Dare to Care)
- Donating clothes for the winter (Louisville Rescue Mission)
- Donating to charities supporting Hurricane Harvey victims.
