The duPont Manual baseball team conditions for the new season

The duPont Manual baseball team started preparing for the 2012 spring season this month, with before-school conditioning almost daily.

Aaron Pearcy (11) thought the team would be well-prepared, especially considering the success of the fall season, in which the team defeated both St. Xavier and Male High Schools. “The team is expected to do very well this year, considering the progress of the players. The fall-ball season helped the team to prepare for the upcoming season by giving us a chance to condition longer and get in a little extra practice before our school season,” Pearcy said.

“The team definitely needs the support of students and parents both. We are all looking forward to a great season,” McLean Long (11) said.

Actual practices will start in February, and games will begin in March.
