2019 Santas Safari

This weekend, Dec. 7-8,  the Louisville Zoo will be hosting Santa’s Safari, an event where kids receive a passport to explore various stations and meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman. There will be holiday beverages such as hot chocolate and coffee for adults. Tickets are $21 for non-members ages 3 and above and $16 for Louisville Zoo members.

A Classic Christmas

On Sunday, Dec. 8 from 5-7 p.m., the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts is showing VOICES of Kentucky:  A Classic Christmas holiday concert in their Bomhard Theatre. There will be many types of music played and personal stories will be read aloud. Tickets for this event will be $20 for adults and $15 for juniors (18 or below) and seniors. 

Music Alley Night Market 

Sunday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Music Alley Night Market will be held. This event will have a variety of people there, artists, vendors, musicians and even entrepreneurs in shops along the street. Set-up is free for people who want to set up a booth, but they are a first come, first served deal.

Santa Sprint and Stroll 5k Run/Walk2019

This Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., the Frankfort Avenue Business Association is presenting the 5k Run/Walk to benefit the work of United Crescent Hill Ministries. The church will host the race, serve refreshments afterwords and offer a chance to take photos with Santa. The top 3 finishers from each age group will receive awards.
