Boys’ Basketball

Over winter break, the boys’ basketball team came in third place in the Campbellsville High School Holiday Classic and participated in the Century Mortgage Derby City Jam where they lost two games and won one. This week, the team will have another tournament. On Monday, they will participate in the Republic Bank Louisville Invitational Tournament. They will travel to Valley to face Pleasure Ridge Park at 5. 

Girls’ Basketball

Over winter break, the girls’ basketball team participated in The Queen of the Commonwealth Tournament at Bullitt East. They won two games and lost two. They also defeated Scott County in the Centria Metals/Penn Station Shootout. This week, they will have one game and one tournament. On Tuesday, they will travel to Mercy to play at 7:30. Then, on Saturday, they will face Casey County as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Classic held at George Rogers Clark. The time for this game is TBA. 

Dance

Over winter break, the Dazzlers participated in the state competition where they came in first place in small hip hop and third in jazz.

Bowling

Over winter break, the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams participated in the Pleasure Ridge Park Bowling Classic. Manual came in third place in the tournament. This week, both teams have one game. On Thursday, they will travel to Fern Bowl to face Fern Creek at 3:30. 

Swim and Dive

Last week, the swim team participated in the Sacred Heart Splash Meet where the boys’ team came in first place and the girls came in third. This week, they will have their senior night against Male at Central High School. Races will begin at 6:30.

Wrestling

Over winter break, the wrestling team participated in the Valley Main Event classic. Manual’s Conley Combs (11, J&C) came in first place. They also had a match against Jefferson County Technical College and participated in the Team Duels. This week, the team will not have any competitions, but they will be back in action next week at the Fort Knox Invitational.
